Selfless Actions:
Your Unrivalled Path to Freedom and Abundance

In a universe in which the default speed—light speed—is 186,000 miles per second (give or take a smidgeon!) your nature is to be active. In fact, you are incapable of inaction. If you do not consciously act from your heart, you will, by default, do so from your story, your script, your baggage that tells you you’re not good enough, not smart enough, and not cute enough. Abundance emanates from your heart, scarcity from your story. When you present yourself to the world wrapped up in your story, you tend to pursue self-gratification—an apparent cure for your scarcity fears—not realizing that the pursuit of self-gratification, if not the very antithesis of abundance, is a misnomer for it.

Like it or not, we live in an interdependent world. The cause of the one has an effect not just on that one, but also on everyone. Furthermore, all actions beget like reactions. It takes but one miniscule Appleseed to create a mighty apple tree that bears a multitude of apples during its lifetime. And note apple trees are capable only of bearing apples. So too a small deed—which you may consider to be good or bad—will grow into a mighty tree—mental program—that will bear a multitude of fruit—karma—during its lifetime to the one who planted it.

The world was created with an imperative to reward—i.e. free—those whose motive is to selflessly give to others and to punish—i.e. enslave—those whose principal motive is self-gratification. To serve others is to be free from attachment; to be self-serving is to be bonded to the things you use for self-gratification. This system is 100% just and adherent to integrity. And, the most beautiful aspect of this self-perpetuating system is that it operates through freedom of choice; we choose freedom or bondage by the actions we elect.

Those who have intellectual knowledge alone of the system’s modus operandi may continue to function from their stories to misdirect their actions in the pursuit of self-gratification over selfless service, since the path to freedom and abundance is an arduous one with the “Story” an often insurmountable obstacle along the way.

Those, on the other hand, who have intellectual, emotional and somatic experience of the system’s modus operandi, understand that the long-term karma of self-gratification resulting from cause and effect is a self meted punishment, the ultimate manifestation of which is missing out on freedom and abundance. These people are not “acting” but “being” selfless. They truly understand the inherent value in the long-term gratification of the arduous path—the road less traveled—and cannot forsake it for the instant gratification of the well trodden, familiar path dictated by their stories. Such people know that the long-term satisfaction and joy of the arduous path is always and forever sweeter, more gratifying than the short-term transient titillation of the external stimuli craved in the midst of one’s “Story.”
